CEM Grip-IT Concrete Bonding Agent promotes adhesion between prepared concrete and compatible CEM restoration overlays. Apply it to the prepared substrate according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not mix CEM Grip-IT into CEM overlay materials.
Increases adhesion by over 50%, flexural strength by 60%, and Tensile Strength by 50% and is recommended to be used with all CEM Concrete Restoration Overlay Products including CEM Stamp, CEM Micro and CEM Spray.
Specifically designed for the CEM Stamp System
AS A BONDING AGENT: Dilute 1:1 by volume with water and use this mixture to bond overlay to existing concretes surfaces. Coat the surface at a rate of approximately 500 square feet per gallon.
Apply wet overlay or concrete over the surface that has been covered with CEM Grip-it it can become dry and will re-emulsify when it becomes wet again (as in applying an overlay).
CEM Grip-it does not interfere with color additives, color hardener or concrete stains.
Do not mix into as a part of the CEM Coatings Overlay materials. The product will re-emulsify.
